Flooring and Accoustics

Decks are not always smooth and leveled and generally are responsible for the transmission of most of the noises in cabins and compartments. Sika Flooring systems reduce noise transmission and level and smooth surfaces in compliance with Marine regulations.

Levelling

Levelling decks prior installation of carpets, vinyl, tiles, etc is a must as well as installation of ramps and all kind of surfaces. This can be ensured by using Sikafloor® Marine self-levelling and trowel out mortars.

Damping Flooring

Floating Floors
