Usage

SikaBond®-205 Brushable Contact Adhesive for fixing vinyl skirting and other common flooring materials where a quick contact bond is required to plaster, timber and metal substrates.

Shelf life

SikaBond®-205 Brushable Contact Adhesive has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production, if it is stored properly in undamaged, original, sealed packaging, and if the storage conditions are met.

Storage conditions

SikaBond®-205 Brushable Contact Adhesive shall be stored in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight and at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

To obtain the best results, the materials to be bonded should be dry, clean, and free from dust, grit, oil, grease and other contaminants that may affect final bond.

 

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean tools immediately after use with Sika® Remover-208. Dried adhesive may be softened using a Sika® Remover-208. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.

IMPORTANT: Do not use solvent cleaner directly on finished floorcovering, as the solvent cleaner can potentially cause damage to the surface.
