SikaFiber® PPM 48/19

Blended Polyolefin Macro/Micro – synthetic fibres designed to enhance the distribution and performance of fibre reinforcement

SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 is a blend of Macro Structural Synthetic Fibres and Micro Monofilament Fibres which are designed to an optimum gradation. This engineered combination of macro/micro fibres provides improved interfacial bonding and flexural toughness efficiency.

Packaging

SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 is packed in 2.3kg boxes consisting of 2kg of macro fibre component and a biodegradable bag with 0.3kg of micro fibre. Each box is designed for fast dispersion within the concrete mix. SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 can be packed on pallets or most other combinations if required.

CERTIFICATES AND TEST REPORTS

Macro fibre complies with EN 14489-2  Class 2 and micro with Class 1a.  SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 meets the requirements of ASTM C1116 Type III.

Compatibility

SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 is compatible with all Sika Concrete admixtures and additives.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

The typical dose rate for SikaFiber® PPM 48/19 is 2.3 kg per m3. Higher dose rates up 6.9 kg per m3 can be used as the performance requirements dictate.
