Sika® Intraplast-100 Z

Expanding and plasticising admixture for cementitious grout

Sika® Intraplast-100 Z is an expanding plasticising agent used to increase fluidity and cohesion of sand/cement grouts and is suitable for use in grouting.

  • Sika® Intraplast-100 Z plasticises the mix allowing for a reduction in water for equal fluidity, thus improving the strength and hardened properties of the grout.
  • Gas generated during setting produces minute evenly distributed bubbles causing expansion to take place thus compensating for plastic settlement and plastic shrinkage.
 
  • The initial retarding effect of Sika® Intraplast-100 Z and it’s plasticising action greatly improves grout penetration and substantially reduces water separation and bleeding.
  • The expansive forces generated promote complete filling of voids and fissures.
  • Sika® Intraplast-100 Z produces non-hazardous gas therefore it can be used in mines and underground works.

Shelf life

Stored in the original sealed packaging at temperatures of between 5 °C and 35°C, this product will keep for at least 12 months.

Storage conditions

Store at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C , protected from direct sunlight.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

The preferred dosage method of Sika® Intraplast-100 Z is by premixing it with the gauging water. If this is not possible it can be premixed with the dry cement/sand mixture providing it is thoroughly mixed through.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

Typical dosage rates are between 2 - 4 kg per 100 kg of cement depending
on specific requirements. Always conduct trials before use.
