At Sika, we prioritise innovation, sustainability, and product circularity through our net-zero commitment and collaboration with suppliers who share these values.

Our packaging objective is clear: to reduce the carbon footprint and CO2 emissions by using plastic buckets made from Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials and incorporating the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) on our packaging, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Sika products packaged in the new plastic buckets made with 50% PCR* represents an innovative step towards sustainable packaging, while maintaining the high-performance quality that our customers expect. The Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) offers consumers clear recycling instructions by indicating which packaging components can be recycled and which components can be disposed of in the rubbish bin, reducing waste sent to landfills and oceans. Sika is proud to be one of the first in the construction industry to implement ARL on packaging.

This is why our statement - "Committed to sustainability, packaging made from recycled materials" - is prominently displayed on Sika products packaged in the new PCR plastic buckets, allowing our customers to easily recognise and join us in our mission towards net zero by 2050.
