Usage

  • Sika® Filler-101 is suitable for indoor filling work on plaster boards, fabrics, old wallpapers, etc.
  • Sika® Filler-101 has a very smooth finish
  • Sika® Filler-101 complies with EN 15824 “Specifications for external and internal plasters based on organic binders” and EN 13963 “Jointing materials for gypsum plasterboards” – Type 3A (ready-mix, dual-purpose compound)

Shelf life

12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged and unopened original sealed packaging.

Depends on the substrate roughness and thickness of the layer applied.
As a guide, ~ 1 l of Sika® Filler-101 can fill ~ 1 m2 per mm thick.
Application steps

MIXING

Sika® Filler-101 is supplied ready to use - no mixing is required.

APPLICATION

Sika® Filler-101 can be applied with spatula in layer thicknesses from 0 - 3 mm.
When filling deeper holes or cracks the filler must be applied in several layers and must be allowed to almost dry. Holes and cracks from 4 - 15 mm can more easily be filled with Sika® Filler-105. When dried finish the surface with Sika® Filler-101.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.
