Usage

SikaBond®-145 SuperGrip is suitable for use in construction and repair applications where a permanent strong bond is required between porous-nonporous surfaces. Suitable for bonding common construction materials such as:
  • Wood & MDF
  • Concrete & fibre cement
  • Brick & blocks
  • Metal & aluminium
  • Polystrene
  • Polyurethane foam
  • Some PVC

SikaBond®-145 SuperGrip stored in original, unopened packaging in cool, dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.

Application

Application Information

Open Time

Relocation time is approximately 5~10 minutues depending on temperature and ventilation.

Curing time

Approximately 30 minutes for initial bond strength, depending on temperature, moisture content of surfaces and adhesive thickness. Some non-porous substrates (such as metal) may require 1 hour to reach initial bond strength. Strength will increase over the next 24 hours.
Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be clean and free from all dust, laitance, scale, rust, loose particles, grease and foreign matter.

 

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean up tools and equipment with acetone or white spirit. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
