EXPANSION JOINT AND SPACE FILLER (Zip Rolls)

A flexible, lightweight, closed cell, cross-linked, polyethylene foam expansion joint and space filler. Used in concrete and brickwork, Abelflex is compressible and has excellent recovery properties.

Usage

  • Ideal as a gap filler and bond breaker for floor and wall expansion joints, filling systems for roads, motorways, bridges, brick and block walls, concrete and automotive applications
  • In joints where polystyrene or bitumen impregnated fillers have been used, Abelflex is ideal as a bondbreaker. Often necessary due to sealant incompatibility with these forms of fillers
  • Suitable as a back-up filler for most elastomeric joint sealants
  • Ideal for stopping contaminants such as soil and debris entering the expansion slots and joints
