SikaRoof® VersiWeb® AU

SOIL CONFINEMENT CELLS FOR SLOPE STABILISATION OF LANDSCAPE FEATURES

SikaRoof® VersiWeb® AU is a cellular confinement system used to provide an effective measure for erosion and slope stabilisation by preventing movement of infill material with the individual cells. It is manufactured from recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) with cell heights ranging from 75 mm to 200 mm for various surface infill depths. SikaRoof® VersiWeb® AU comprises strips of perforated, expandable and flexible thermoplastic that are ultra sonically bonded to form a honeycomb matrix. Cells are secured onto slopes at intervaled anchor points according to the specification of geotechnical engineers, or may be stacked in layers to enhance structural and shear strength.

No expiration date if the product is stored in accordance to the storage conditions as stated in this Product Data Sheet

Storage conditions

Products must be stored in their original packing, laid in a horizontal position, and under cool and dry conditions. The product must be protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow and ice, and any other elements
Technical Information

Seam strength

Long term seam peel-strength test shall be performed on all resin or pre-manufacturedsheet or strips. A 100mm wide seam sample shall support a 72.5 kg load for a period of 7 days minimum in a temperature controlled environment undergoing a temperature change on a 1 hour cycle from ambient room to 54°C (130°F). Ambient room temperature is per ASTM E 41.

Accessories:

  • Tendons - Polymer type and design tensile strength depends on geometry, anchorage design and chemical environment. Long term creep performance is important.

  • Atra Clip - Attached to tendons, provides positive transfer of sliding loads to the tendon system.

  • Tendon Anchor Sysytems - Tendon anchor type depends on geometry, environment, site conditions and infill type. Dead-man crest anchors or earth anchors are generally recommended
