SikaRoof® Geotextile

Bidim A12 non-woven geotextile is a durable permeable fabric used to separate soil and aggregate, provide filtration and drainage, and prevent material contamination in civil, drainage, road, and landscaping applications.

Bidim A12 non-woven geotextile is a permeable synthetic fabric used in civil construction, roadworks, drainage, retaining walls, landscaping, and erosion control. Its primary purpose is to separate, filter, drain, and protect soil and aggregate layers while still allowing water to pass through.

Bidim nonwoven geotextiles provide excellent filtration, separation and cushioning properties and feature a strong three-dimensional structure with high elongation. Bidim nonwoven geotextiles also have a high melting point and high UV resistance.

Shelf life

There is generally no fixed "expiry date" when the product is kept in its original packaging and stored correctly. However, the manufacturer recommends minimizing exposure to sunlight, weather, and physical damage during storage. Rolls should be stored off the ground and under cover or tarpaulins

Storage conditions

  • In storage: Keep dry, wrapped, off the ground, and out of direct sunlight. Properly stored stock can remain usable for upto 2 years. 
  • After installation: Cover within 30 days maximum, preferably much sooner.
