Usage
Sikafloor®-414 Feather is applied in combination with suitable materials from Sikafloor®, SikaBond®, SikaTite® & Davco® ranges▪ Most often Sikafloor®-414 Feather is Installed as a skim coat over internal concrete substrates, masonite underlay or CFC sheeting prior to subsequent fooring. ▪ Sikafloor®-414 Feather can also be applied on walls and floors to smooth
roughened/damaged concrete.

Shelf life
Unopened packaging can be stored for up to 24 months in a cool, dry and
weatherproof environment.
Storage conditions
Pails must be stored off the floor. Avoid sitting product in direct sunlight
prior to application.

Application
Mixing ratio
- 550ml of water per kg of powder for porous surfaces (concrete, hardboard/masonite & cement fiber sheets)
- 450ml of water per kg of powder for ceramic & porcelain tile surface.

Ambient air temperature
▪ Minimum 10°C
▪ Maximum 35°C
Pot Life
12 - 16 Minutes @ 23°C
Do not mix more product than can be applied within 16 minutes.
Applied product ready for use
Flooring can be installed only when surface is dry and can be worked on
without damage (usually 25 – 35 minutes @ 23°C).
Note: Thicker layers may take longer to dry due to product build, as will
applications in colder temperatures.
Consumption
~10m2 can be reached with 1kg of Sikafloor®-414 Feather when
applying as a skim coat over a smooth steal trowel concrete surface.
Multiple coats will be required when installing over rough concrete or tile
grout lines for example.
Note: Consumption will vary depending on surface conditions.
EQUIPMENT
▪ High speed drill & mixing paddle, bucket + trowel
APPLICATION
Apply mixed product to the prepared surface with a
flat steal trowel. While using force against the surface
a thin layer is applied to seal the concrete and fill
minor imperfections.
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Clean tools and equipment with warm water while the
product is still wet.
