  • Work with marketing and other functional support groups in the development and implementation of marketing, sales, promotional, and other programs for value added concrete products.
  • Prepare and present formal and informal presentations and seminars for owners, contractors, and the specifying community. Work with the sales team to change and attain new specifications preferential to Sika. Influence contractors/specifiers inclusion of Sika products for value added purpose and/or when they are not in specifications. 
  • Complete RFP/RFQ/RFI’s from main contractors and recommend pricing for key civil/infrastructure projects to achieve sales and profit goals. Provide support for duration of projects.
  • Execute strategy to maximize sales with main contractors; identify new sales opportunities. Penetrate organization at highest level possible, building integral relationships
  • Prepare monthly status reports to senior management.
  • Manage, develop and motivate Sales Representatives in day-to-day activities related to use of assigned products and key projects.
  • Exploits information database (Salesforce.com) to track project information and technical questions from inquiry to resolution for maximum return value. 
  • Resolve customer complaints, disputes, collections, receivables, quality concerns, rebills, etc.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ten years’ experience within the concrete industry.
  • ACI Level 1 certified, NRMCA Concrete Technologies (Level III) preferred.
  • Deep technical understanding of concrete materials.
  • Knowledge of ready mix, precast and dry cast production.
  • Network with in the industry and past participation in local and/or national industry associations.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent analytical, planning and time management skills, and quantitative skills.
  • Travel as required throughout the US 50-75% as necessary.
