Sika® Confibre® 51F

Fibrillated Polypropylene Fibre

Sika® Confibre® 51F is a fibrillated polypropylene fibre for use in concrete to reduce the incidence of plastic shrinkage cracking. Sika® Confibre® 51F increases the strain capacity of the fresh concrete therefore reducing plastic cracking.

Recommended dosage

The recommended minimum dose rate of Sika Confibre 51F is 0.9kg (1 bag) per cubic metre of concrete.

Optimum dosage depends on the type of concrete, site conditions, mix proportions and desired plastic and hardened concrete properties. Laboratory and/or field trials are essential in determining the optimum dosage.
